Studio Legale Morrone was born in 1993, as a natural development of the professional relationship between Mr.
Pietro Morrone and Mrs. Laura Luciani started in Rome's courtrooms four years before, in 1989. It had its first
registered office at the heart of Parioli district, only few steps away from piazza Euclide.
During the '90s, aside from assisting its clientsin every field of civil law, the firm started to cooperate intensively
with the Bankruptcy Division of the Court of Rome, obtaining several important mandates, including for the
management of bankruptcy procedures. Meanwhile, the firm was engaged in a number of criminal-law
proceedings concerning, inter alia, bankruptcy, corporate and tax crimes.
The 2000s were marked by a number of notorious financial cracks (argentine bonds, Cirio, Parmalat,
Giacomelli): during those years the firm developed a strong expertise in financial intermediation, assisting
several hundreds of savers throughout Italy.
Over the same period, the firm's advisory activity reached Africa, and, more specifically, the French-speaking
CEMAC member states, where it received several mandates from Italian investors and entrepreneurs operating
in that area.
In Italy, the daily confrontation with the banking world, both inside and outside courtrooms, led to new
professional relationships and, as from 2007/2008, to the obtainment of the first mandate from a credit institution.
Today, after over 10 years of continuous commitment in the field, the firm constantly supports Banks and
Financial Intermediaries in their relationships with clients, providing them with specific and comprehensive
judicial and non-judicial assistance for the management of non-performing loans.
